Steps to Adoption

• Complete the online application here or come to the center to submit an application. 

• An adoption counselor will be in touch to schedule an appointment. 

• Allow at least one hour to complete the adoption. 

• Bring your children and dog, if applicable, to the adoption appointment to ensure your new pet is a good fit for your household. 

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older. 

• Have a proper form of picture ID. 

• Be prepared to pay the adoption fee with cash or credit card. 

• All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. 

Adoption Fees for Dogs

• Puppies and small breeds $175 

• Dogs Over One Year $100

• Heart-worm positive dogs $285

   

Adoption Fees for Cats

• Kittens (Under 6 months) $75 

• Cats Over 6 months $60

When you’ve made the decision to adopt, click on this link to fill out our Online Adoption Application.You will need to visit the center to meet with a counselor to complete adoption.
